There is a severe housing issue here. The building of houses can't keep up with the pace for need and the state ran out of money for it's, at the time, rather good homelss/transient solution.I'm not sure what he was supposed to do for Utah so can't really argue. He's bona fide LDS (The Charitable Contributions on his tax returns prove that) which is why he went there for that Senate seat.
And I've said multiple times that Mormons/Utah is more resistant to Trump than other key GOP demographics but that just kind of proves my point. If he's barely getting by in Utah I don't see him getting support in other GOP hotbeds where Trump is more popular. Maybe Ohio..
I was more surprised that Mike Lee's numbers weren't better

When I first came here like 4 years ago you didn't see a transient person walking around downtown SLC. Like, AT ALL. Cause they were able to get in front of it and provide services and shit for those people. The money ran out though and there's enough CT folks out here that some believe CA buys Greyhound passes to ship their homelss up here.
That said, it'd be nice if Romney spent less time talking shit to Rustled Westbrick at Jazz games and more time trying to get federal funds to restart that program.
Granted I have only been here coming up on two years but I can't really name one thing Romney has done good or bad for the state. Which is worse than doing nothing but bad shit cause people think you're just sitting collecting a paycheck talking shit.
