True. It did take a while. All of these situations are very different with different personnel though. And a riot and a standoff aren’t really comparable on how you approach them.

I wouldn’t say BLM protestors got off easy because they weren’t all killed like the white folks at the Branch Davidian compound. Totally different times, situations and different departments, etc.

What the FBI will do is also dependent on the top down command. An FBI director appointed by Trump will probably be different than one appointed by Obama.

Native Americans occupied Acatraz for like 19 months without violence from police. I don’t think that proves anything beyond it was a different time with different key players than other occupations. It certainly doesn’t mean native Americans are more favored by the feds than white people because of how it went down compared to Ruby Ridge lol.

I feel bad for Brees. Guy deserved to play in more than one Super Bowl. The refs fucked him out of one that year against the Rams and even as a non-Saints fan, I'm still salty as fuck about it.

The fallout of that Alcatraz occupation was them bring targeted via COINTELPRO. I'm not so sure I'd call that "better" in any relative sense considering what COINTELPRO was.
