It was still on the plate, not in the bin or anything. Some people are really small eaters. What's realistically the worst they could've done? Everyone eats with a knife and fork.

When I dropped out of college and was living in a ghetto shithole eating government cheese and rice I would take advantage of my dishwasher job by foraging leftovers from plates the wait staff brought back. Sometimes I'd cut around some pieces to get to the good shit. I always gained weight when the chicken marsala special came through, that was some good chicken.

Once again SMH at the dainty palates of others, sigh...

In highschool, not everyone finished their meal during lunchtime. They left food on their plate, put it on the tray and placed the tray in a rack.

I used to go through the trays and eat the leftovers.
