Doesn’t sound like me. Either you’re misremembering or I was just being coy or playing around or something. Idk. I’m not like some superfan honestly but I did greatly enjoy the shock value back in middle and high school. And I was into grindcore in general.

No bullshit you had the band in mind when you adopted that screen name?

As an Anarchist globalism was worthy historically of pitched battles as we saw Athens, Seattle, Toronto in the WTO and G8 riots. Where those that deemed themselves warriors against globalism and neoliberalism internation exploitation by rolling flaming dumpsters down the hill to disrupt pig lines. (Weird fact, the Delta Force was actually there during the Battle of Seattle in 1999)

Imagine my heartbreak when I realized that most people mean "Jews!" when they reference globalism and not the horrors of capitalism

To right-wingers, "globalism" is a combination of Jews and various wealthy liberals that are-inexplicably- trying to destroy Western Civilization because reasons.

Of course the left has an actual "globalist" tradition that goes back the furthest. The various labor organizations of the 1800s were called "internationals" for a reason. Solidarity with fellow workers across borders and in the name of freedom from capitalists was the name of the game.

The neoliberal order CAN be called globalist, but really isn't.

The Barnes beef is especially funny because Barnes is a giant pussy. Seth tried to fight him on tour and Barnes hid in his bus and called security. Security beat the shit out of Seth while Barnes watched from the window and laughed.
Something about that is funny to me.

Never heard of Buzzoven. Will give them a listen.

Sounds about right. Funny.

Buzzoven is legit. You like EHG? Seriously, give this some volume and at least one minute of your time. No likey, ok. But you'd be wrong. :)

Nice. Buzzoven is right up that alley. Not as fuckin' amazing!!!! But EHG on their game is like the honey badger.

In 1996 in Boulder EHG opened for Neurosis. Neurosis was my absolute favorite band for about 10 years and absolutely crushes live. EHG was touring on the Take As Needed For Pain record. They played one of the greatest sets ever. The only time I ever saw Neurosis upstaged (for sure, although Mastodon might have done so at the Relapse fest in like 2002).

I started listening to Neurosis due to the singer of Converge always wearing their shirts when I would see them live. They are so god damn good. Souls at Zero is one of my favorite vinyl records to listen to. Some bands just sound better on vinyl, they are one of them.

What character am I? Other than J-Rock obviously
latest

Souls at Zero changed my life. I really enjoyed their first two records so of course picked that one up when it came out. Got it home and mind was blown. Felt like they created a new style of music. Spent the next few years trying to get my buddy who owned Relapse to sign 'em. Sent him a tape, he lost it. Finally he saw the band live in Germany and was like "Wow!". I'm like, duh. Now if he'd only listened to me on Melvins. :(

@Rocco Siffredi You’re Cyrus from the Trailer Park Boys.

I never watched that show. At some point you want to find someone with an interesting idea to go head to head to your own. Either learn something new or reinforce that you know your shit. I can't find either here. Oh well, I still get another korean girl on saturday so I have that going for me.
