I don't remember this level of outrage (which i think is justified btw) when it was discovered that there were multiple child rape gangs operating in the uk, which the police did fuck all about for a tremendously long time (decades). I can only think it because the victims were working class girls.

Well, that's not got much to do with this specific case and it was some time ago. But yes it certainly didn't get today's level of outrage or coverage. Partly because of a scandalous cover-up.

Well, that's not got much to do with this specific case and it was some time ago. But yes it certainly didn't get today's level of outrage or coverage. Partly because of a scandalous cover-up.

I'm not coming at it from a racial angle btw; there have been multiple abductions and killing of women most recently that did not get this level of outrage either. All of them deserve outrage, its just odd that this one seems to have broken the camel's back.

When the guys that are supposed to protect you end up being the primary suspect of abduction and murder it kind of snatches the news.

"Every anarchist is a socialist but not every socialist is necessarily an anarchist" really defines Anarchist theory and thought and why Anarcho-Marxists (Libertarian Socialists, or just Anarchists. Have you read much Emma Goldman? Truly one of the greatest American anarchists to ever exist. I spoke on her when I referenced the IWW free speech movement in San Diego. Where she spoke and her companion Ben Reitman was kidnapped and tortured. IWW men were also systematically tortured by the police and their vigilante thugs in San Diego.

They tore my clothes off. They knocked me down, and when I lay naked on the ground, they kicked and beat me until I was almost insensible. With a lighted cigar they burned the letters I.W.W. on my buttocks; then they poured a can of tar over my head and, in the absence of feathers, rubbed sage-brush on my body. She was also deported to Russia and spoke at the funeral of dear Kropotkin, but this quote of hers (and goodness she has so many) I adore on Anarchism.

A speech by Goldman is what led Leon Czolgosz to assasinate president McKinley and she refused to condemn him for it.

Women and children are extremely vulnerable members of society I'm afraid. I hate my wife going to work at night, it frightens me, but I can't do much about it ,we have 3 kids to consider.

Listening to the radio today I was quite taken aback by the stories of just everyday life for women in England here. it makes you wonder if we as men do enough to protect and call out shit from other men.

Men really do have it fucking good, we just don't realise it.
