I think there is some merit to the argument but there was definitely GOP maneuvering on certain issues to get behind it.

For instance Mitch McConnell used to support laws against flag burning but abandoned that position when the money/actions = speech argument was being formed because money = speech is more fruitful than a law against flag burning

Do you see any merit to the idea that donations should be kept secret? I don’t.
 
Rant- Never using Spirit Airlines again

Heading to Cancun next month for a wedding and had credits from Spirit from a past flight that had to be canceled, booked the flight a month and a half ago. Anyway as usual I get an e-mail saying there was a schedule change and to check out my new flight time.

I login expecting the flight to be pushed back or forward a couple of hours but these motherfuckers pushed my flight back an entire fucking day... on a flight to Cancun... where many people are heading to all inclusive resorts.... trying to steal a day of vacation....

So I check Spirits schedule and they still have a flight on the day I was scheduled to fly out. So the fact they pushed me out a day instead of up an hour pisses me off. I go through their portal to change my reservation to the original date and it won't let me, I have to call their hotline to have someone manually change it because the flight is double the price of the original flight and you can't make that change on your own..... was on hold with the airline for 90 fucking minutes

So now I'm convinced Spirit realized they could charge double of what they originally charged me for the flight over a month ago and went about canceling flights and making people with existing reservations jump through hoops to avoid the upcharge

Lol I've never seen a preboarding fight or on fight fisticuffs. The closest I've seen was a retard giving a stewardess crap because she told him to put his mask over his nose a few months back.

And I think airlines have boarding priorities backwards. I want to be the very last person on the plane before it takes off...
