So, if you say something regrettable and decide you'd better change the post because you know you shouldn't have said it in the first place, how would that differ from doing it because you're trying to be sneaky? Or does such a distinction even matter after 6 or 7 infractions in one year?*

RIP Crazy Source. You were all right in my eyes. Come back a little better prepared, and learn to play the game a bit better.

Guess center right. Slow and steady by nature. Was more right, but people have showed me some things in the last decade that made me rethink certain positions.

If its an infraction worthy or bannable post there won't be leeway even if you have no infractions. Post porn but edit it a minute later? Gone. Call someone an idiot in your reply but decided it was too harsh and change it later? Thats fine. Call them a slur but change it to "idiot" after? That's an infraction.

So it’s only slurs that infractions? Like I had one of my posts taken down because I called someone an asshole or sack of shit I can’t remember, but I didn’t use slurs.


I just want to know for future reference.

Each report we consider the person account. Like here they had racked up 7 infractions in less than a year. Things like age of an account, if they are considered good contributors in other parts of the forum, if they are escalating behavior from previous infractions. Making wishes of harm is far more than calling someone a name. It is zero tolerance.

Like we try to judge context and intentions, but that is subject to the mods reviewing the report, and if more than one mod sees it as a major issue for the site and user base, you are much more likely to get a more serious infraction. Off site stuff is harder for us to deal with. If you give information that can lead to your identity on this site, it gets to where its out of our hands. Discord, and other of site information sharing is beyond the scope of this site. This is why we try to tell everyone to be responsible with what they share with others here.
