Just played an Oregon Trail game with WR posters as the travel crew.

Made it to Oregon safely. @Gregolian, @tonni, and @Gandhi all survived varying bouts of dysentery, cholera, typhoid, and measles.

Meanwhile, @HockeyBjj broke his arm and died within two days. What a little bitch.

I only ever bought a lot of ammo, shot a ton of buffalo, and just brute forced my way through the trail. Worked surprisingly well.

I was also 8, and thought hunting was the only fun thing in the game.

The version online must be one of the very earliest, bc it's very crude.

I played it in the mid 1990s, but apparently it was first made in 1971 lol. So this version didn't have buffalo in the hunt: only bears, dear, squirrels, and rabbits. And the hunting isn't fun at all.

That's how I played too. Hunt a lot eat a lot and go at a grueling pace .... and never ever caulk the gd wagon. Ever.
