Times change but not that much. There’s still genocides being perpetrated, and hatred is as common as ever, so it’s always good to be vigilant. We all have to remember our own histories in the hopes the bad parts aren’t repeated.

Made breakfast for my folks on mother's day.

Bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns on the Blackstone Griddle. Biscuits (Pillsbury, sue me) and some sausage gravy from scratch (I know it isn't very hard but I did all the seasoning myself).

This weekend doing Korean short ribs and quick marinated pork belly on the Blackstone.

Yeah nothing like a great breakfast. It does fill you up for the day.

I just picked up a giant order of sushi tonight for the familia. Nothing is nicer looking than a giant sushi platter.

I miss good sushi.

Still can't find a good spot in utah.

Almost to the point that if some fat paycheck job in Washington popped up and I got it I'd be hard pressed to NOT move back to Washington just for the fresh seafood lol.

Ok? TBF, before my folks moved out the only eating out I did was basically fast food/one step above fast food. Didn't go to any sort of sit down places.

There was a decent tasting Indian spot near where I used to live.
