Would you want to see a Poirier - McGregor 4?

It is a complete waste of a fight beyond Dustin possibly getting a nice payday. With regard to my view on the rankings Dustin has nothing to gain and much to lose in taking this fight.

Not particularly, but I’m resigned to the fact that it’s probably going to happen .
There are worse things that can happen

I dont want to see part 4. I do not see Dustin losing, but if by some fluke he does there will have to be a #5. That is just too many fights against the same person close together.
Do you honestly believe that if Conor won a 4th fight, that he would give Dustin an instant rematch for number 5? There is literally no way in hell that would ever happen. Nate is still waiting on the trilogy. Why didn’t that fight happen instead of that debacle with Cowboy? Conor is not giving Dustin a chance to take the best of 5 series.. EVER.

And that is the perfect reason that number 4 never needs to happen.

Sure. I hate Conrat but hate to see any big fight end that way. Also Conrad insulting Dustin and his family like that.. he deserves a proper beat down. Dustin gets paid handsomely for it of course, more than ever, or he tells Conrat to go fuck himself...

Dana didn't even think Conor would stand a chance against Masvidal and you think he's gonna throw him in there with Usman? Lol

If Mcgregor Usman is estimated to sell over 1.5 million ppv’s, Dana will definitely sign off on this. Dana doesn’t give a shit about Conor getting smashed in the octagon or what you think is fair.

This is not a sport where ranking matter, this is entertainment and what makes the most revenue is the fight to get the UFC push.

If Conor comes back and beats another mid level LW, sure. Maybe Conor vs Tsarukyan first.

No, that bread is stale now. Conor gets an immediate shot at the WW strap whenever he feels like it. This is not a sport where rankings matter, only PPV numbers matter and Conor is the king in that department.

This is next if he decides to come back I think.

If Colby beats Usman and then Conor came back to fight Colby for the 170 belt, that would be the strangest and potentially most entertaining back and forth ever, leading up to the fight. The press conference would be gold.

I don’t have any personal animosity towards Conor so, no, I don’t want to see a 4th fight at this time

I get it that Dana & the UFC have completely dismissed meritocracy long ago.

but at least put Conor in a fight that will be fun to watch. Watching some guy in over his head isn’t great entertainment

Conor vs Masvidal (at the height of his run) would've sold more ppvs and they never came close to making that fight.
Dana publicly admitted that Jorge would beat Conor's ass.

Rankings don't matter but the ufc isn't going to throw their cash cow into a squash match.

Small chance of this happening but yeah the lead up to the slaughter would be glorious.

Sure. Conor wants it, Dustin looks to be okay with another "red panty night" and it's gonna be interesting to see the excuses this time.

Conor vs anybody sells close to that number. Certainly over a million. Why would you make an Usman fight, which the whole world knows is a squash match. When you can just do the Nate trilogy? Especially since you know that’s a guaranteed 1.5M ppv?

One of those two fights actually makes sense. The other is beyond stupid. Conor is NEVER fighting Usman.

Your not looking at the fight from Usman’s perspective. He and his manager both agree it’s time for him to start chasing big $$$ fights. Conor is the biggest $$$ fight out there. I’m not disagreeing that the fight is ridiculous, but money talks.

No. It's obvious Dustin is way superior, and I enjoy the thought of Conor being forever haunted by that knowledge.

1. Oliveira vs Poirier as soon as possible
2. Poirier vs Islam
3. Poirier vs Conor 4
4. Poirier vs Nate

I just want to see the best fights first and LW is awesome right now. And to see Poirier active. He's not young, yet in prime form, so activity.
