Would you rank Pettis vs Henderson 1 among one of the greatest LW title fights?

Imo this was one of the greatest LW title fights I´ve seen, between 2 amazing and very skilled fighters. In the end the showtime kick stole the show though.
But the whole fight was a very technical back and forth war with both guys in their prime, with great moments on the feet and on the ground.

Would you rank this fight among the greatest LW title fights?

Thoughts?

Funk yeah. Showed everything there is to MMA, and at the highest level.

No doubt, I would put it up there as not just one of the best fights at 155, but one of the all time great fights in MMA history.

Benson and Pettis put on a back and forth great fight and truly show cased MMA at its finest, stand up, clinch, ground, damn good fight.

Behind Frankie and Gray fights imo but it's up there for sure. Definitely top 5 greatest LW title fights of all time, maybe even top 3. Awesome fight.

GOAT Fight between two future UFC Champions... Foot , Fence , Kick.

People only remember the Showtime kick but that whole fight was awesome. Favorite lightweight title fight? Probably Penn vs. Pulver 1.

No doubt about it. It's been a long time since I've watched it, but I remember thinking that Bendo won, even despite the kick.

One of the best. Pettis did a lot more than just that kick, but the kick may have won him the fight. Great come back from being down 2 rounds to none to win the last 3.

But like everybody else says, Edgar vs Maynard II and III were better fights.

It was great.

But if Pettis tried that crap on me, I would have ducked under it, wrapped him up from behind and suped him on his head, ending the fight.

Sounds like a good idea.

Yep. Still think Cerrone/Bendo I, is better. Benson isn't the greatest right now, but you guys should definitely respect him more.

Absolutely. The guy is / was an incredible fighter. And he´s got the GOAT surprise look in his face when a decision doesn´t go his way.

It very hard to pick a favorite fight ever, it's easy to jump to the last great fight, but this fight is the first one that always comes to mind for me.

I remember it like it was yesterday

Such a unique fight. I was watching by myself, nerding out the whole time
