Kenny Florian said it best: Crawford will be the greatest fighter of the night in my eyes, and around the world's eyes...of the night

Sorry, but this is retarded. A wrestling background, lol. He could weigh in anywhere and Pantoja kills him. Hell, Kayla ragdolls his ass.
Lol stop it. Crawford would at least be able to handle the midgets and women of the ufc.

I'd like to see it out of curiosity, to see how the guy does. But the problem with the boxer-does-mma fights can be seen in the James Toney/Randy Couture fight.

It was "exciting" until the fight actually happened, and then it was just ... kind of lame. At least a mma-turn-boxer fight has significantly higher chance of being watchable.

Watching a dude with no real grappling experience get out grappled in short time is just like, ok, yeah? And?
Tim Sylvia and Ray Mercer disagree.

But I don't, really. No point to it. MMA fighters are eager to try it out because they're delusional about the quality of their hand-striking, and because fighters in top boxing events make a shit-ton more money than MMA fighters do, so it's not even basically the same thing, but in reverse.

The women sure, but any of the men? Dude's not even a huge guy lol, not to mention any sort of kicks would just kill him.

Sure, seeing specalists compete in MMA is always fun.

The chance of him doing it are probably pretty close to zero though.

Im not going to waste time thinking about something that won't happen. But anyone clicking they wouldnt want to see him do MMA is simply lying.

I don't care about mma in boxing or boxing in mma. Maybe a middleground like bkfc or something or include kicks. I feel like this shit is run in the ground at this point. Every boxer knows in mma they have one punch before taken down, then they just get pounded out.

I have no idea. But I'm sure he does it here and there. Who knows what he's truly capable of. I wouldn't shut down the possibility. Especially a elite athlete who can box like Crawford. There is always a puncher's chance. If Crawford can keep it standing, he has a very good chance in being victorious.
Why are you sure he does it here and there? Lmao.

Goofing off with a friend is not wrestling practice or skill refinement lmao

Not really, because we all know what would happen, the fight would be on the mat in first few seconds and it will be so predictable and lame, even though we would get crazy hype and build up, it would all be a waste of time, I'm sure UFC would get the new covid lockdown fanbase suckered in though to spend spend spend

He's almost 40 years old and making tens of millions in boxing, there is zero reason for him to consider trying MMA.
There's some proper shit, pointless threads on this forum. It makes you wonder what kind of idiot thinks up these ideas and thinks it is worth discussing. Thread should have been closed after the post above which summed it up nicely.

young prospect Tony Ferguson asserted domination in boxing and threads like "<TOP BOXER> should go for mma?" start to come out all of a sudden
coincidence?

Why would someone at the top of a superior sport jump into the mud with the piggies for the slop we enjoy
