If thats the only way to get more good fights then yes, but i certainly dont think its the best for the fighters to only have one major org to go.

Fans always want this "competition" but the reality is look at what that has been in the last 10 to 12 years. None of them stick around and none them are real players in the the mma free agent world. I don't even know if 25 fighters have ever really benefited from a real free agency in all those years and were able to capitalize 100% because of the perceived competition. I can think of some, no doubt. But for many it never mattered in the end.

I think when we think of competition or free agency we think like WWE vs WCW era shit or what we have come accustomed to in other sports. That has never really existed in MMA and now that the UFC has basically branded MMA=UFC it is over. No one is ever going to get enough legs to matter. You have PFL making a major splash with Francis, swallowing up Bellator, etc. But now they are trying to figure out how to operate the PFL outside of tournaments with all these new fighters and make good business sense of it all. Until they figure that out and can make money I'm not sure they will be doing a whole lot in free agency market when it comes to named fighters from the UFC.

The landscape of MMA at this point fans should wish all the best fighters fight in the UFC(large majority do) and pray the UFC fighters wake up one day soon and form a union/association to get better pay/rights. Because the later is really what fans and fighters are talking about when talking about competition. If the UFC fighters ever do this it will end any chance of real competition for ever for the UFC as the B leagues will have no way of being able to compete with what that collective bargaining agreement will give fighters throughout their career. They will be left with cast offs and be a stepping stone. I guess not much different than now in some cases.

it would give me a chance to update this image after a long time (throw ONE in there too)

Rather see PFL just cut a bunch of people. They have more fighters than they can provide fights for/afford to pay after the Bellator acquisition.

Cut everyone who isn't willing to do the tournament.

Also would like to see them drop half of their weight classes. 6 tournaments running simultaneously is too many. Keep the 3 strongest and drop the other 3. Run 3 stacked tournaments a year.

PFL bought Bellator and guys like Patchy Mix and Pitbul are living their dreams, defending their title 2-3 times a year and earning millions of dollars. If U FIGHT CHEAP buys the PFL, they would those fighters chump change!
You Fight Cheap? ZOMG lololol hahhahha that's so funny. Did you make that up all by urself? I gotta tell my kids that joke. You are one smart cookie!

It's a catch 22. The UFC doesn't need to buy every competitor that comes along, but the people running PFL are incompetent and don't do a good job, which isn't good for the fighters.

As a fan, all the best under one banner would be amazing. You can argue having no competition means no obligation to put on a quality product, which is somewhat true but it’s almost that way already since there is no serious competitor.

But also for the athletes, having basically a monopoly is very bad. So I’m conflicted.
