Would you have gone back for Newt?

If her parents nicknamed her Newt, I suspect it was due to their admiration of Newt Gingrich. Anyone and anyone's kids of someone who admires New Gingrich can get fucked. if her nickname was instead Obama Wama Dingdong, I would be going down there in a power suit and personally skull fucking the alien queen in her dickface.

It's just that she kinda just goes well, fuck! and then gets in the drop ship and just..takes off, really fast.
 
If the kid was called Obama I would have fed it to the fucking things when the machine gun sentries ran out.

Ripley did what she thought was best as per the other poster's comments re her not getting to have had a relationship with her own daughter.

Mind you she took a fucking longshot and risked Bishop and Hicks as well (but Hicks supported her so...)

And yeah abandoning a kid you made promises to, to those creatures, yeah that'd haunt my dreams and I'd have a lot of problems living with it
 
fuck no, Newt doesn't even make it to Alien 3. You would be going back for nothing

If Ripley hadn't had gone back we wouldn't have had crappy Aliens 3, story would've ended there, Ripley goes back and marries Hicks and Bishop is the best man...... No more aliens......

Quentin Tarantino said that the movie delivered on all levels when he saw it on opening night in theatres and the scene with the facehuggers in the room with Newt and Ripley, was so intense that when Hicks shot the glass and burst through, that the crowd went fucking mental
 
My kid, yes.

Newt no.

But Ripley was having issues with missing her own child’s life and latched to Newt. So it’s a possibility.
