Or better yet put the whole clove cut in half in foil with olive oil 400 oven for 45 minutes.

I like to sous vide my garlic cloves for 2 weeks until it turns black.

Yep look it up. Its like a natural steak sauce. Its sweet, tangy, umami. Hints of raisin.

I think I'll stick with roasted or sauteed. I don't really sous vide much of anything. Why do this instead of a simple 45 minute roast
Because its adds a sweet, tangy, umami, and hints of raisin to a steak. A natural steak sauce if you will. 10X better then A-1 or any other crap you buy in a bottle.
