Food & Drink Would you eat this German sandwich?

weird

Im like 40 and just realizing no one EVER talks about German cuisine.

Does it just suck generally ? Just sausages generally? What herbs do the fuk with?

I had baked pretzels in Germany, they were a lifesaver in winter

Pork knuckles

Sauerkraut too

Plus their beer's pretty good

Probably not. I stick to Schnitzel and Pretzels with a Litre of Hoffbrau. Germans do beer and desserts better than meals.

What? It's called a Mett-Brötchen.

I see that you did not watch the video.

The German fellow in the video says it is called "Hackepeterschrippe." at the O:06 mark of the video, and even goes on later to explain what "Hackepeterschrippe." means.

Fair enough. Just giving my insight as a German. We used to eat it all the time and I never heard anyone call it that. Might also be a regional thing, who knows.
