Would you be ok with Shavkat stomping Usman knees?

No, that would NOT be OK at all, why are people saying this would be OK? Has everyone gone insane? Who kicks someone in the knees and people say it's ok?

Or do you mean inside the Octagon? That would be different.

I love Rampage and have forever, but he steps very heavy on that front foot and makes himself a target for that very technique.
This. The oblique kick to just above the knee is simply the smart way to counter someone who sits down heavy on that front leg. A fighter who doesn't use that technique in that situation has no business fighting.

I would be fine with Shavkat putting a beatdown and retiring Usman

Marty has been talking too much shit lately... too much for a guy who could not even get past Leon

I like your passion here sir, but not everyone will use that technique, it's not in everyone's wheelhouse/fighting style.

I do however believe the ones who don't use it shouldn't complain, its out there...its not some secret technique from the Shaolin temple lol

Nahhh

A spinning wheelkick knockout is very difficult to do

Cheezin someone's knees. Not so much. its like the argument against headbutts almost.

I dont call for them to be banned. Its a legit technique. I do understand why people dont like them.

If they got banned it wouldnt change too much.
Its literally the kick version of a jab ffs.

Why stop there?
Eye pokes/rakes/gouging
Snapping peoples fingers
Knees directly to the spine
Soccer kick the cup
Wrestlers should be able to put their fingers into peoples noses and pull as hard as they can
If you drop somebody just jump on their head

Oblique kicks are easy to abuse and can be career altering, shouldn’t be allowed.
Oblique kicks didnt save Max from being koed by Ilia. And Max went super hard on those kicks

I've never seen someone get koed from a oblique kick. I've yet to see someone even stumble from on. So to formulate a strategy to target his knees would be a dumb one.
Rountree Jr has one, i think. Not the most used or easy to land technique i guess.
