I felt the same way sir lol
I felt the same way sir lol
I loathe Jon Jones and I still see it as legit sir.never understood the problem with oblique kicks that some people have...it's in the rules, it's a legit technique and it's a fucking fight...is it really just because it's a technique used by jon jones?!
I would ALWAYS use techniques that end peoples career if I were a fighter. Then people will be scared to fight you. And that person makes the most money.I love Rampage and have forever, but he steps very heavy on that front foot and makes himself a target for that very technique.
Also the little crybabies calling it a "career ender" can kiss my ass, because I have been watching this shit since its inception and can't recall a single instance of a career being ended by that technique.
Its a fight, injuries can happen at any moment from any technique.

Ok, we found the psycho guys.I would ALWAYS use techniques that end peoples career if I were a fighter. Then people will be scared to fight you. And that person makes the most money.
HEY!Ok, we found the psycho guys.
You know I'm just fuckin with you sir lol
And when he's on his hands and feet...knee em a few times lolif the officials, commission or UFC themselves haven't done anything about it up to this point why would it be any different just because a guy on the downside of his career with bad knees be treated any differently?
stomp the fuck out of them and finish with some 12 to 6 elbows i say.
Still love you either way lolHEY!
I prefer the term sociopath.
Thanks.
Should we ban head kicks too...Terry Etim was running into buses after Edson wheel kicked his head off.I stand corrected. That shit need to be banned he folded the guy
Sportsmanship is fine, but I think we should ban ALL techniques because someone can get seriously hurt...smh.Because there is nuance to this debate even if you can't see it.
I don't think fighters should use them. But I also don't think they should face a lynch mob for using a legal technique either.
Jon Jones was largely correct when he said it's hard to make a moral judgement on these kicks when they are legal and the other guy is trying to give you brain damage.
But ideas of sportsmanship transcend explicit rules for a reason. Fighters may have a collective interest in it not being seen as acceptable to try to trash each other's knees, because it could easily happen to them. That's where the concept of 'dirty even if legal' comes from.
Was Keith Hackney doing anything against the rules when he smashed Joe Son's balls? No. But I think many of us would agree it was a pretty shitty thing to do (before we knew what a piece of shit Joe Son was at least), even if some don't.
That example shows that something being dirty is not necessarily defined by the current state of regulation.
Well, not Shavkat fault that Usman has been very open about his bad knees. Going for "hey it's a major weakness, please dont exploit" is kinda dumbIt would not be nice to build a game plan around what attack would be most likely to cause a life or career altering injury. It's a strange grey area where it's sportsmanlike to spare an opponent if possible, but not unsportsman like if you don't.
However these guys are not in the nice business. Shavkat's job is to defeat his opponent by any means within the rules. Usman's job is to protect himself. The commission, the promotion, the corner, the ring doctor, and the ABC have some responsibility to protect the fighters from undue risk.
The only people NOT responsible for protecting Usman are Shavkat and his team.
Saved the thread brotherHere's a gold star for that answer sirView attachment 1070190
