If he were to win the belt?

Dagestan isn't in Europe, right?

I think Sakuraba won a UFC tournament.

Anyway, the topic is sure to get people riled up and rustle jimmies.

inb4 Dagastan is part of Russia debate

the hell just happened?

Now that you mention it, TS, I always thought his eyes were kinda squinty.

Look at a map and locate the Ural Mountains.

Also: Sakaraba.

Dagestan is a part of Russia, and even if it were an independent nation, it'd be in the Caucasus which is typically considered Europe (west of the Urals).

Sakuraba and Sakara are both Eurasian, right TS? which is probably why their names are so similar....

Iran is normally considered to be part of Asia. Turkey is considered Europe. Dagestan is east of Turkey, North of Iran.

Nope. He is literally Caucasian.

My gf's Iranian and she has never once called herself Asian, they call themselves Middle eastern.

Dagestan is part of the old USSR and therefore Europe anyway.

Dagestan is part of Russia. UFC has black champ. He is not African champ.

Its European, it lies to the west of the Caspian, dividing Asia and European areas.

Dagestan is considered to be part of Europe, so if you wants to get somewhat technical, he'd be considered European.
