Lots of Japanese fighters at light feather, I hope someone manages to place.

Here's my predictions..
Rooster:

Jo

=brian morizi vs dillon danis in the first round
-tyler bishop vs jonathan satava in round one then winner faces sebastian brosche in round 2
-fernando reis vs bruno tomasetti in first round
-tim spriggs and mike carbullido in same side bracket
-erberth santos vs nelson pontes round 1

brown belt bracketing is very questionable

Since I dont follow the brown belts to closely, why is this questionable?

How do you see brown belt bracketing? The bracket link provided by ibjjf doesn't work for me... it just says "category is not available for this day"

Leandro Lo permanently at middleweight now should open things up at lightweight. Langhi, Lucas Lepri, Satoshi, JT Torres. potential for crazy matches.

AJ Agazarm doing his first Worlds as a black belt. Sorry kid, it's a crocodile pit

Brown belt bracketing is random. Only black belts get seeded

I'm just happy Dillon, Marcos and Jon are on seperate pages. Since they all train together. Sucks Tyler has to fight Dillon 2nd match should they both beat their 1st opponnets. Dillon, Jon and Marcos should do well. Dillon and Jon closed out Pan Ams and Marcos took 2nd last year in Worlds.

I have never bought the IBJJF.TV stream

How is the quality? And can you see all the matches from white to black or just black belt matches?

How is it possible that one of the guys in black belt who placed 3rd in absolute didn't place in any of the divisions? do they not have this rule in black belt where you can only go absolute if you place in your division?

Sad to not see Xande competing. I know he's had some issues this year, but I hope 2013 wasn't the last time we see him at Worlds.

Black belt absolute is open to all the competitors.

Is there any reason why the stream is so expensive?

Not trying to come off like a dick I just want to know. :icon_chee

Edit: For some context, full access would cost me just over $50 in my local currency add in a few dollars in bank fees, for an event that starts a 4am where I am, for a stream which I have never used (don't know what quality will be like). Also I am a very casual sport bjj fan. By comparison a UFC card is approx $20-$25 in local currency with fight pass prelims starting about 10am and the main card starting about 2pm. The last metamoris cost me $12 (early special) but full price would have been about the same as a ufc card, that started around lunchtime.

I understand there are heaps of matches, but for me, as a very casual fan there is little incentive to pick this up.

Why does it suck that Tyler has to go against Dillon? Is Tyler affiliated with you guys now?
