Workout routine after a big break

    What would be a suggested workout routine for a person that left the gym for a few months to start back with and slowly get back into shape?
    Everytime I go back to the gym after a big break, I over push myself and end up sore
    for days and then by the time im not sore its been like a 5 day break from the gym.

    Maybe, just a simple bwe routine for a few wks until you feel the need to get seriously into the iron.
