Hi Guys,

my english is not the best, i hope you can understand me. Next Week i want to go to MMA (newbie).

I want more force and mass and muscles. I am 6.2 high and weight 160.93747900000002 lbs

MMA Train Days only twice a week. ---> i am a beginner in strenghworkouts and MMA to.

How i should to strengh workouts if I go to MMA 2x a Week?

Look up 5/3/1, it's my personal favorite when it comes to lifting and training in another sport

Calf raises and bicep curls will get you into the fix for sure.

But for real, get on a beginners strength program like starting strength or strong lifts and spend most of your time working on your mma.

Any help? I think if i do 3 times a week a strengh workout i dont know if i had power for 2 days mma

I'd say you'll be fine, but realistically it depends. Do you have background in other sports? 2-3 days lifting + MMA, if you're very new it will probably have you sore for a week or 1.5 weeks, but after that you'll probably adjust.

should i start with strong lifts a few weeks before and then i start with mma? and do strong lifts only twice a week?

I did well paying extra attention to shoulders, forearms, and lunges personally. I didn't do heavy squats or deadlift ever and won a handful of tourneys in bjj I did 225 for everything, squat, dead and bench. Sets of 10, five on bench. I fought at 185 and 180 for grappling.

If you're starting out you might do well to follow the advice above and go starting strength.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't strength train 3 x a week alongside MMA 2 x a week. Eat and sleep etc..

No. If you are interested in mma, you should start doing that. The weight are just to help your mma, not be a sport in itself (unless you want it to be).

You will be fin lifting 3x a week and mma 2x. May take a few weeks to get used to it but you will be fine.

Ok then i will start with starting strengh and after a few weeks i start with mma to.

I hope i understand everything right.

I don't see why you couldn't just start MMA now. There's no time like the present.

You're getting it wrong. Start mma now, and start lifting now/soon. Don't wait to start mma until you've been lifting, that dosent make sense.

Mma is the sport you want to play so start doing that.

Why dont you just do starting strength twice a week? Many people do it and Rip even said it would be best to do the program twice a week for fighters.

You must have one hell of a scale if it's accurate to that many decimal places.
Are you measuring neutrons with it?

My advice is to do an abbreviated strength progam.

Workout 1:

bench press 2x5
horizontal row 2x5
squat 2x5

Workout 2:

overhead press 2x5
chin-ups / pull-downs 2x5
deadlift 2x5
