defend vs Diaz/Wonderhype/GSP/,,,, 2 or 3 more defends... ?

Woodley has all the tools to be GOAT. After Woodley beats Diaz and then fights whoever is next it will be interesting to see.

He already beat Condit just like Weidman beat Silva. Woodley did it more convincingly though.
 
Woodley is no different than Kos. All hype and wonder boy is going to obliterate him.
 
He gains nothing fighting Nick as far as legacy goes. Did you watch his fight vs Silva? Far from a world beater. Woodley taking out Thompson in spectacular fashion would be a great start. Gsp will never fight again unless it's a gimmie fight. Woodley is not a gimmie fight.

I smell fear in his heart after that wonderboy interview. calling out diaz is literally the dumbest thing ive heard combat related this year. fight the contenders and shut up
 
Watching it on replay I didn't realize an obvious stat, Woodley is the same age as Lawler. He is devastating, but he was also very familiar with his opponent, probably helping him to land the bomb. At 34, he would need a lot of defenses before any GOAT talk. Look at all the tough fights Robbie was in, tough to see Woodley making those wins, even if some them were murky decisions for Lawler.
 
He would have to win the belt 12 times like GSP did... & against similar quality competition.

It's WAY TO EARLY to even be considering him for this conversation.
