Colby is a Puke but his style has to be infuriating to compete against. Very hard to set up and fighting on a back pedal is exhausting. It works for him and he wins a lot, like him or not.

Tyrone is a county in Ireland. Tyron is the former UFC champ. People call him Tyrone, because that is a stereotypical black male name (or was a generation ago) and Tyron has earned a reputation for being sensitive on racial issues. It's not a direct slur, but it introduces a racial element to the conversation that is unnecessary.

Hard for me to know how to rate Colby's wins over Lawler and Tyron. Both are better strikers than he is, at least throughout their careers. Both are also shot and tentative, but that doesn' make those wins nothing. I think Colby's style is murder against anyone who has trouble pulling the trigger, because his volume and the threat of the takedown can keep you off balance. Colby's striking is poor in terms of technique, but effective combined with his great cardio and his takedowns.
 
Let's get into what this is really about. Wonderboy's hairline is still top 10 while Colby's isn't even ranked anymore

Except Colby has never been KO'd. If what you said was true, we'd have multiple champs who used WB's style. I personally like traditional martial arts styles used in MMA but it's very hard to use against durable pressure fighters like Colby.
 
I feel like the butthurt Colby fans, didn’t even watch the video. Cuz Wonderboy despite saying Colby’s striking on a technical level is nothing special and saying eh doesn’t like his persona, gives him mad props for everything else.
 
can't disagree with wonderboy. he was being honest and it was obvious that he was not trying to shade covington but was just laying facts down. i'm not a fan but i can never dislike him. he's a gentleman in and out of the octagon.
 
I wonder if WB will end up behind the desk after his fighting days are over. He's balanced and fairly eloquent and I'm just desperate for them to replace Dom hahaha

if u only count head strikes, but if you count overall strikes, usman was outstripping him, especially with body shots.
