Wonderboy is the best striker in UFC history

Adesanya is the best striker in the history of the UFC, followed by Silva. Wonderboy has gotten out struck by Woodley and guys like Pettis.
Do you mean Silva, as in Wanderlei Silva? Now I know your a troll. If Anderson in his prime ever fought Wonderboy at his lowest he would be exposed so bad his legacy would cease to exist.

You mean like when he won via TKO or KO his first 5/8 fights in the ufc? Or when he absolutely put on a striking masterclass against two upcoming beasts in Neal and Luque in his last 2 fights?

I say again, he hasn't finished a fight in years. People should expect KOs from "the best striker in UFC history." Be honest: No one expects that from Wonderboy. So how can he be the best?

Prime Anderson would do much better than Pettis did against wonderboy (and I love Thompson)
Pettis didn't go through any trial and tribulation against Wonderboy. He was dominated 90% of the fight and landed a lucky punch using leverage off of the cage in a surprise manuever.

There have been many fighters who have won belts (and some w/ many defenses) that have won belts almost entirely as a function of striking and defensive grappling.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Wonderboy is very good, but others (not loads, but a handful or two) have done more with their striking than he has.

Wonderboy beat prime Anderson..

You should go into comedy!

Pettis slept him pretty bad.
Schaub slept cro cop
Fedor out struck cro cop
Silva got knocked out weidman
Saki got killed by rountree.
Till got sweet carolined woodley and jorge back to back
Gas nearly knocked out Izzy twice.
Striking isn't like wrestling. There's always a puncher's chance. Plus... Pettis is a damn good striker himself. No shame in losing to him at all, even by knockout... Okay on second thought, you shouldn't be losing to pettis in 2019. The point still stands.

Who you fight matters.

Wonderboy has a very respectable strength of schedule. People also seem to gloss over that he spectacularly knocked out Rob.

Anderson was a very solid striker who largely benefited from good timing and a lack of depth in the division. There is a reason he put off fighting Weidman for as long as possible.

Wonderboy has fought the very best guys of roughly two generations at this point. He casually STYLED on Masvidal, which is absurdly difficult to do.

This shouldn't be at all controversial. He's one of the overall best strikers in the history of the welterweight division, and arguably of the modern sport.
