I was actually one of the (mild) critics, in the sense that "Hmmm... shouldn't WW be built like a brick shit house?" and not in the "This is a travesty! This movie is going to be shit!" sense.

I'm glad to hear that she's bulked up a bit and did some martial arts training. This might also mean that we likely won't be seeing the typical seizure cam cinematography we've come to expect when an actor/actress can't physically perform action scenes all that well.

Agreed. I grew up when the Wonder Woman series was playing in the 70s, was great seeing Lynda Carter in that role.

She is so much a throwback to the woman of the 60's people like Raquel Welch and other actresses from that era.

I don't care about the look, I'm mad they went with an actual supermodel instead of a proven actress. I think Gadot has done some acting work but most models don't transition like Theron and win Academy Awards.

She's not the toothpick that we all saw in the Furious movies.

I'm seriously thinking you need to get your eyes checked. She looks fine there too. Just because she doesn't have the roided out look doesn't mean she's not fit, toned and muscley.

Amazons in other media look just like her. Not everyone has to look like Lucy Lawless.

I looked at the trailer I even posts photos from the trailer. I am just saying she can act but she still does not look the part. I believe that the part needs a woman who looks strong not bodybuilding strong but someone who looks physically active. Gal just looks like a tall fashion model. Not much more then that as far a her physical presence. I posted the photo of the girl from Mad Max who I thought looked better for the part. She is physically bigger and she has a look of someone who can handle herself. Not that she is carrying lots of muscle just that she looks like she has been in fights and does not look weak.
