What are the bets that if the accusers name on the legal documents is leaked and it is their name in the Irish language.
A trick often pulled by serial claimants to prevent them being linked in the public's eyes to previous claims that went through the court under their English name.
I'd say 0.1% of Irish folk go by their Irish name and those would usually just be some folks from the gaeltacht (irish speaking) areas of the isle.

Also depends on intoxication, as being intoxicated does not mean consent either. This isn't really cut and dry and there are many things at play that could work for or against Conor. Just saying consent, at least here in Canada, is never implied. If she said no at any time then she revoked consent and it is in fact rape.

I'm not a Conor fan in general either but I tend to agree. Conor has made himself an easy target for lawsuits by all the stupid shit he has done. This is likely another frivolous lawsuit that will be quietly settled by paying them to stop their nonsense and go away.

You've clearly never been sued. The lawyers representing the plaintiffs are doing their legal work on consignment which means its costing nothing for the women to sue McGregor. He will end up shelling out 30-40k in legal fees even if he wins could be double or triple that depending on how dragged out it gets by the women's attorneys.

Or he can settle before he gets to court when they sit down with an arbiter and give them a much smaller lump sum on the agreement that they drop the suit and go away permanently.

That's what frivolous lawsuits are. If you have money its usually worth it to pay off the people suing you so you don't spend years in court and crazy legal fees. Also the public image component is a factor too.

In today's Metoo era, sponsors and companies are very reluctant to deal with celebrities if they are involved in lawsuits of a certain kind.
