Just a small fix

Helena Crevar is doing a submission/grappling bout. It's apparently mentioning its a MT fight.

Btw, what was the name of a girl ONE was hyping in grappling? I forgot her name... I think she was from Oceania or something... What happened to her?

Edit: It was Danielle Kelly and ONE apparently released her.

She’s from New York. She lost her belt and was no longer worth what they were paying her.

March;s RIZIN event will feature two super atomweight bouts:

Kate vs Oshima was announced on NYE. important fight for both of them. Kate wants to challenge for the title, while Oshima, having failed to secure the title, has been more miss than hit lately. If it hits the ground, Oshima should have it easily. kate’s been getting better on the feet, though, and she’ll have the height and reach, as well.

This should be a toss up. Both are at a similar stage in their development, having faced similar opponents

Mackenzie Stiller (5-1) vs Kendra McIntyre (3-2)

The lack of space for the ladies on the regional circuit lately is ridiculously frustrating. All the regional promotions do anymore is try to push people to the UFC, and if they can’t, fighters just get ignored except as cannon fodder. If you’re relatively decent enough to present a threat to a fighter getting pushed, you’re not gonna get booked. Three ladies bouts on this card, all of them mma fighter. Some are over the hill mma wise, but Bittencourt is wasting her time here. Rainn Guerrero is another one. A bantamweight with a 7-2 record, fighting in Dirty Boxing SMDH

Couple of fights on my area’s local promotion:

3rd round of Rose vs Silva was ok. Other two not as much, I blame Rose for that, this was again one of "those" fights from her. So it's nice Silva got the decision.

Who won the first round in reality? I have 0 memory of the round, even though I am 100% certain I watched the whole fight :D

Rose vs. Silva was kind of a nothing fight. I am glad silva got the nod though because I thought she didn't even need to step up and take this fight when grasso pulled out.
silva will get the next shot against val, but this fight didn't give me much to look forward to :( plus i wanna see rose/grasso get rebooked

round 1 i felt that rose landed the better counters and was flummoxing silva with her feints so i gave her that, and the 2nd. but meh.

rogan said stuff i agreed with in this fight (?!??) it made me feel weird

I've always thought silva could give Val a lot of problems, and i still think that, I just don't think it will be exciting at all.

I felt like round one was too close to argue either way to be honest. It was a lot of nothing. I don't feel strongly about it either way

Not much happened in the fight but I think we did learn some things about Silva. She's done well against opponents who are flat-footed or go at her, Rose isn't like that and Natalia had a tough time trying to close the gap and hit her. Rose actually has good distance control & defence and she was able to slide out of range on most of Silva's kicks, not much luck boxing her either since Rose has more range on her punches. Fight looked pretty even until Silva landed a spinning back kick on Rose, you could almost see the wind go out of her and she started slowing down soon after which allowed Silva to start building momentum.

I think she's going to struggle a lot against Shevchenko but I'm completely sick of rematches so might as well make the fight happen, who knows, maybe she'll surprise everyone.

I felt that way watching it live, but UFC Stats have it Natalia 15 > 13 sigs & 10 > 4 head sigs. Which if these guys are doing their job remotely right Judges got it right. There's really no arguement rose'd 4 punches were somehow better than 10 she took it's not like she landed Gautier or Jean Silva with big impact.
Round 3 tho Natalia put on a show so it's for the best.

Not a great fight and other than speed I do not think Silva has much for Val. Her distance control is not much to talk about and her footwork is pretty much linear. Val should be able to step back and counter all night. Rose has better footwork but has lost something critical with respect to wanting to win.
