Lou Xiaoni (15-7) vs Huang Feier (11-6) at a JCK event on December 23rd (fight pass):

Might be the first women’s fight JCK has had. Certainly the first I’ve heard of.

SANTOS over Egger // they're both Judokas with some international experience, Luana seems like a better striker though and Egger is a bit iffy at MMA in general (I like her fights - all finishes in the UFC (exept when she got LnP'd by Tracy 'Decisionator' Cortez) + some dashes of controversy, but oddly enough her Judo grappling is a bit of a liability with her getting subbed easily a few times and only works on fighters who are poor technical grapplers themselves. Egger is a fair bit bigger/stronger though - Luana seems a bit weak which is unusual for a Brazilian (especially one who was an international athlete) so maybe Egger will be able to overpower her in the clinch and win the grappling anyway (although if Luana's weight miss is a 'tactical' decision that could nullify the size thing somewhat 😉)

ALENCAR over Santos // Alencar kinda reminds me of a chunkier Carla Esparza - uncomfortable on the feet and too short & stumpy to compete there, spams double legs constantly; but coming from the puny hobby of BJJ rather than the AWESOME discipline of wrestling, so her takedowns aren't as good, she's slower and she has terrible cardio (see also on this card: Muniz) (worth noting though she was on super short notice and had sinusitis or something for her Cantender's fight where she was completely helplessly gassed in the third). Santos looks pretty fluid these days & has big fight experience so not gonna be surprised if she wins, and I hespech her mucho for beating Jillian DeCoursey who I can't forgive for killing Lindsey VanZandt, but I'm compelled to pick the more Esparzalike fighter by law.

Incidentally although I think these two are decent enough signings, but why are they signing fighters like this (eg they didn't sign Alencar off of DWCS because she was 'too old', which is kind of fair enough with regards to her potential) whose ceilings will be mid-tier at best while cutting TOP TIER ELITE prospects like Kanako Murata without giving them a fair chance? I won’t pretend to know anything about these two, however,
1. I always find myself cheering for Romanian girls, for reasons I don’t understand.
2. How cool of a name is Khan Fight?
3. Even better, the event is titled Veni, Vidi, Smash!

^ good booking - heck, lots of good bookings recently! i wonder what's changed with the ufc matchmakers?
Book enough fights some are bound to be good.

Not sure I'd say it's good booking either cornolle was pretty cool striker in her debut but her horrible TDD likely means Rendon takes her to lnp city.
