For UFC this weekend I'll go with Hardy and Avila.

If murder mode Avila turns up - my memory of her is Beltan having to drag her off some poor victim - I'd take her to get her second UFC champ scalp. On the fence though.

I guess the Hardys will have watched more film on Horth than the Canadian herself, I'll be surprised if Veronica doesn't win handily enough.

Might as well be flipping coins to pick the winners. Tate and Avila are both coming off long layoffs so there's a good chance of both fighters gassing and making all sorts of poor decisions. Probably starts fast and either ends early or gets real sloppy in the 2nd round. No idea on Hardy vs. Horth, I don't remember any of the latter's fights off the top of my head, not sure if I've even seen her fight before.

I’d say it’s now a safe bet to say she’s a nightmare to work with & that is another hallmark of her career.

Yeah. When even Brian Stann says you are a pain in the ass you have really got to be a pain in the ass. But the thing that irritates me the most is her continually playing the victim. Like pretty much everyone else on her she is the cause of most of her problems, just like I am of mine, you are of yours, etc. So she needs to quit whining, stow that sense of entitlement and be grateful for what she has.

I been thinking about JJ and her comeback assuming she's doing sw it is perfect for the top of the division.
Zhang vs Yan is probably in the works.

And Tatiana needs a fight between now and next with only Lemos as real option. JJ can slide in here as a name and Tatiana gains more beating her than the lesser know girl it's a nice fn main too.

If Zhang winds up fighting Tatiana, it just means the opposite is true for Yan (although Yan could rematch Carla who is coming back?)

Smart of Erin to push for a title here even if she's not getting the undisputed belt. The UFC really should do it as well it's a historical first wmma interim champion.

i suppose a loss for either wouldn't hurt their title chances, but i don't think manon would agree to it given erin's wrasslin'/bjj pedigree

xiaonan whooped carla's butt pretty decisively last time, probably no need to see that again. is jj toying with un-retiring again? hope not, unless it's for sunset-ing veterans like kh or jj. as for tatiana she could defnitely fight lemos to keep busy - i'm partial to an all china sw title fight and am happy to wait for it to happen in shanghai

- i love what hardy/macedo 2.0 did against juliana miller, but i think horth has size,strength and composure to her advantage. horth ud.
- tate isn't convincing these days. don't get me wrong, she's a total pro as a day-job fighter but she doesn't have the same venom or chip on her shoulder as panda does when fighting. panda ud.
