Signings/Scouting WMMA Discussion #29

The place I posted quoted Guillerme Cruz as the source. He’s the go to guy W.R.T. Brazilian mma news.
The article I linked was from Guillerme Cruz. Somehow he tried quoting Guillerme and messed up. Which is why I don't like social media news aggregators.

Edit: I am not blaming you or anything. I am just stating my opinion on those accounts. NBA Basketball news aggregators mess up all the time too.

Yeah but getting a therapeutic use exemption is standard and expected for all fighters and she didn't do that.

Neither did Cyborg and got nothing, and hers was not a legitimate use for spironolactone. To add further to the general fuckery she had a script from a physician from Brazil while living in the US.

[MMA] UFC 294: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski 2 Abu Dhabi, UAE
Main Card -PPV (ESPN+) – 2:00pm ET / 11:00am PT
Preliminary Card – ESPN+ – 10:00am ET / 7:00am PT
Jinh Yu Frey vs. Victoria Dudakova

Dudakova has the height and reach advantage so I'm picking her. Rooting for Frey as always.

Rooting for Frey as always.

rooting for jinh this weekend :)

Verily!

Hopefully it doesn't go as nastily as Waterson and Yoder got...

Also, it's almost halloween! Costumes!

Well...

Honestly?

Less finishes, more decisions and maybe a loss to Holm

Could not agree more. She got by on athleticism, not talent and with less ability to recover her strength and conditioning would not have been as well developed. I mean, she juiced enough to gain muscle while supposedly cutting in a cardio-intensive sport. Difficult enough for a man, next to impossible for a woman without significant effort in both the weight room and dinner table with a little bit of assistance thrown in.

The duality of man (currently top and bottom of the same max-posts-per page for me)

Looking forward to the Ashley Yoder fight, she really is the great survivor of wmma. 3-7 in the UFC with every fight going to a decision, yet here she is, nearly seven full years after her debut.
Wouldn't surprise me if she gets an itd win and a couple more years on the roster.

Rooting for the up and comer, youth must have its day.

Invicta signed Open FC strawweight champ.
I’ve started ignoring these signing announcements from Invicta. They’re signed when they have a fight announced, and nothing less than that. Too many hollow signing announcements from Invicta this year, while their first event in six months next weekend has only 6 fights
