Brannon shows her butt on Instagram. A lot. Only reason I could think of, besides age (hoping she’ll develop). Bannon throws some kicks that are sorta fancy, but they’re pretty ineffective. She needed more development, whereas McCormack fights aren’t pretty, but they’re the kind Dana loves.

Agreed. This could go either way. Hoping it goes Hill’s way. It feels like Rocco’s path has been either fighters Taylor made for her, or ever the hill veterans who would beat her a few years ago (Torres got robbed!)
 
yoder mauled de paula on the ground for 3 whole rounds and almost got the sub before the final bell. great showing from the spider monkey. de paula did ok fending off yoder but really needs more tdd. it was a decent enough fight.

Yeah Yoder looked fantastic in all areas. Great seeing her get her first victory in a long time. She's obviously still training hard. Good for her.
 
My first impression of this evening's UFC card is that wmma overachieved publicly, in that some jaded veterans credited them in PbP threads of each fight they actually watched.

Tabatha Ricci vs. Angela Hill. Ricci got the UD in a fun exciting fight. 2 of the three sherdog analysts awarded it to Hill. We've seen Hill get totally robbed in the past. In this one it's a tough call because each round was close imho. They both gave it their all.

Jacqueline Cavalcanti vs. Josiane Nunes. Jacqueline wins the split decision in a fight I also found tough to score because of the size difference and the difficulty to tell from home which strikes were significant and which were not. The stats they showed on screen seemed meaningless to me. They both suffered damage and masked it well.

Cong Wang vs. Victoria Leonardo. First round shmasharoni. The gifs speak for themselves. The announcers said it's the second fastest knockout in UFC WFlyW history. Someone here should recall the fastest. She's right to say they should put her on a main card next. The Joker delivered the smiles.

I doubt Schev fights her till she's ranked top 5 at least.
I assume you believe that could happen after Grasso beat Schev (i have a different POV of that thought btw) and they'll book Fiorot as the next contender.
I think the loser of Grasso x Schev gets the loser of Rose x Erin next.
