Post fight Weili spoke about how much she enjoys the crowd and city. I can see why. Throughout the week they gave her well-deserved props.

The Boston UFC crowd is always very loud, but you could tell it was turned up compared to normal as they’d been gone a while. Since Boston is the only spot they’ll go to in New England these days, it also gets a lot of New Englanders.

I was totally surprised by how big of a star Weili was, She easily got a bigger pop than Chito & Weidman, had one of the best entrances, & her fight was the 2nd most anticipated of the evening. The shot she dropped Lemos with in the 5th was brutal, I think she would’ve knocked most women out cold with that one. Boston & Beijing are almost the exact same climate wise I’ve been told, & there is a huge Chinese population in & just south of Boston, so Weili probably felt right at home.

I was wondering how the flyweight ranking would look this week and it was exactly how I would have them Natalia takes Lee's 13 spot who is out and Karine steals jaz's 15 spot.

But jaz will get right back in if she wins the Cortez fight so it's ok.

MBS is still ranked I guess that's until the hearing happens Thursday.
