Boo, 'in fact, high school wrestling is strong.' McMann is the one I'd be least surprised at dropping out of the top 5 due to her performances against Murphy and Baszler.

...And, back on topic: Holm getting Pennington and then Eye would give her a fast-track to title (provided she wins both fights) and it`s completely within the realm of possibility. In fact, the more that I think about it, it seems likely. The grapplers in the division would just put Holm to sleep (killing the real fight the want to hype: Holm vs. Rousey), so I don`t see Holm getting matched up against anyone like Cat or Davis or even Tate. Even if Eye whoops Pennington, but loses to Eye (a likely scenario), it sets up Eye as a legitimate challenger to Rousey.

Are you getting paid by Rousey? Or have you only watched Rousey fight? Personally, I like to see a back and forward battle that includes all aspects of MMA, not just a quick 1 round armbar. If you enjoy 20 second fights then you are missing the point of MMA

The fight is happening soon so I don't want to get too involved in both your arguments but as I mentioned previously, high school wrestling background isn't for proving Tate is on an olympic level, it just proves how long she has been in that field, and it is impressive. Don't misunderstand her resume. Anyhow we shall find out how she will do against Mcmann

I definitely agree with you on the Holm vs Eye match-up, White paid too much and went through massive headache to get Holm to join the UFC, I doubt he will waste it without making her fight Rousey, but if she was to lose to Jessica, she is also another title contender worthy (even tho the outcome would probably be similar to that of Alexis).

Agreed with both those sentences. Except both Tate and Davis are submission specialists so I assume they are a bit of a danger for Holm. Putting her to fight Kaufman would have been the best option, if they weren't training buddies! Either way, I can't wait to see Holm being pushed to her limit
