With his insane cardio, why isnt Cain ripped?

No they don't.

Yes they do. But we already know that you are unwilling to deliver any sources at all for anything that you claim. Your main argument is "I have the right answers, and you don't". And when people link you to scientific evidence, you don't even want to look at it... Well wooooptie fucking dooo!! :)

He doesn't have a strict diet. He eats lots of Mexican food even during a training camp.

which is why I used genetics rather then just BMR. But are you saying every girl in the world can become a victoria secret model (as long as they have a pretty face of course).

In theory, sure. Not everyone has assets suitable for underwear modeling though :icon_cry2

Simple question, would prefer serious answers, but I'm sure I'll get some bad ones.

Cain doesnt cut any weight before fights, he has solid strength and really good cardio, so why isnt he more ripped?

I'm sure since hes a fighter, he's on a pretty strict diet.

I mean no homo, outside of the Hunt, Nelson, DC, he probably has the worst physique of the quality HWs

Since you seem to have no real understanding of exercise or physiology...............

Being a high cardio athlete has nothing to do with looking "ripped". Some of the top endurance athletes in the world while possessing a ton of wiry muscle look like an inmate rescued from Auschwitz from 100 yards away. Overeem is ripped. How's his cardio? The Diaz brothers have great cardio and I've never heard anyone describe them as "ripped". They're wiry like Bruce Lee but they wouldn't win any fitness modeling competitions.

Looking "ripped" is a combination of three things. 1) muscle mass in large visible muscles 2) very low body fat 3) dehydration.

If you don't cut weight AT ALL, there is no need to have super low body fat or to be dehydrated while competing in any sport.

And if you don't believe me about 3) look it up, its real. People who do body building and fitness modeling competitions and already have the muscle and low body fat will DELIBERATELY DEHYDRATE themselves to make their muscles more visible and "ripped" looking.

You sure you're sure? I doubt he restricts his diet much at all.

I bet he comes home from a hard day of training and eats whatever the fuck he wants.

In theory has little to do with reality in this case, as you have to ask whether or not living the way you would have to to achieve it, is sustainable. Sure in theory you could put someone on a threadmill for 5 hours a day and feed them salad and they would come out all weird looking, but that is taking it to the extreme. Within the realm of reality, genetics is a big factor.

In the specific situation at hand, weight class is a much bigger factor than genetics.

At HW he does not need to keep his body fat as low as possible, nor does he need to cut water, and he has a huge weight variance he can compete within (and his average weight is near the center of that variance). He has no competitive reason to try to drive his body fat downward or dehydrate himself.

IN FACT, trying to do those two things are more likely to harm his stamina than help.

He's not Roy Nelson or Butterbean. He has some body fat but it is in no way problematic.

This might have something to do with it...

Satellite

...I know what I'm having for lunch.

You actually think body types exist? There's more of a chance that bigfoot exists than that being true. I showed you a video of a guy who's currently doing his masters in NZ. A guy who people go to to get shredded for competition. Not 12%bf like Dolce gets his guys to look like, we're talking 5-6%. OH! THE FUNNIEST THING, one of his most popular clients is a mexican (last name's nunez so I'm assuming) and he by far has the most craziest physique when he's ripped out of all the natural bodybuilders. What happened to the genes thing again? What was that? Can't hear you? Oh yeah, did you twist your point again? Are you going to comeback and say "so you agree there's no such thing as body types" LMFAO.

Here's the mexican who you'd call an endomorph because he's so fat in this picture and is physically incapable of becoming ripped purely because you think his "body type" disallows him to be.

Now here he is shredded to the bone. Wait, he must be an ectomorph now though right? Surely!

Tell me one thing, when you are typing are you having a seizure? I see a lot of "What was that? Can't hear you? Oh yeah, did you twist your point again?" nonsense. Calm down boy for fuck sake. We are on a msg board haha.

Now if you are completely relaxed and calm, we can continiue with this debate. First of all I have absolutely zero interest in anecdotal evidence as it is utterly useless. What is your definition of body type? Are you saying that shaquille o'neal and a pygmy have the same type of body?

I have no idea who the guy is so how do you determine that I would call him an endomorph?

No PED's, normal people who just train look like him more or less.

Well true, but there are other Hw's who are far more ripped than him. But for HW it definitely matters less, I agree
