I have some decent hand sensitivity so when I sparred some BJJ guys I was able to smack them silly in stand up, it was really fun. However I did get taken down and submitted a few times too, which was all in good fun. I feel like having some decent hand sensitivity skills from wing chun will give you some edge in that transitioning range that is "before the takedown" and that is if they already stopped your ability to box and kick them, you can still use wing chun's inside fighting and shift them out. The mistake I made a couple times was not inflict enough damage on the opponent to get him to back off even though I was landing clean shots, so he jumped down or something and got an armbar lol
