do you have some real sparring session?
looks pretty cool, thing is, not really realistic though...
i've been trying to find sparring partners that will allow me to put up video on youtube, but everytime i try to schedule something, it doesn't seem to work out for one reason or another, but i'm still trying.
here is a video of me and my friend Brian doing some light sparring, he trains at Freddie Roach's camp in hollywood. obviously, we're not trying to hurt each other, but i told him he could hit me since he was wearing boxing gloves, and that i would only work on my defense and entering skills.
light sparring video here
Great video! Take what is being said in here as some what tongue and cheek and from an obvious grappling bias.
thanks man, i've been training for a long time and i'm trying to help change the way wing chun is practiced and perceived, i really do appreciate your encouragement!
But you're obviously a "Mixed Martial Artist" for a reason and that is because it has been proven that standup fighting alone is not enough. It isn't complete.
thanks again and i agree that you have to be well rounded, here is my instructors list of those i've trained with or now training with.

Chi Sau is not a fight technique it's a training exercise. That's like saying a boxer would knock a Judoka out if he were to practice his Uchi Komi on him.
you are absolutely right, that's like saying pummeling is not grappling, when in fact it's an important DRILL to help develop sensitivity and timing of when to set up takedowns. chi sau is no different, it's not fighting, but a DRILL to develop sensitivity and timing of when to safely strike. i'm glad you see that!
