General Kael doesn’t get the recognition he deserves as a great action villain.

Madmartigan over just about anybody. Ever.

I miss this kind of overall feeling of “magic” that this film created. The limitations due to the lack of digital effects challenged the filmmakers in a way that made the movie great.

I don't remember the movie itself because I haven't watched it since childhood. However, one of my most memorable childhood nightmares involved the main character from Willow.

Val Kilmer was one of the most interesting fantasy heros in madmartigan. Dude was far more entertaining than most of the generic holier than thou heros. Dude should have had his own spinoff movie.

Such an awesome element of the movie is how they make you believe the legend of Madmartigan with only giving you small pieces of info on his background. A prequel focusing on him would have been amazing.
