I find it hilarious that the LW division is getting fucked in the ass in real time by Ilia and people like you still have the energy to go at Islam & Ali like that’s the biggest scandal. So far Usman getting the TS is just talk, but there are active plans for Topuria to duck Arman, from his own mouth. Rumours are Paddy vs Gaethje for the interim belt. Save your outrage for that.

Folks are outraged at the LW interim fight. Stop with the victim complex. We can be dissatisfied with both.

I called this before the JDM Islam fight. Islam winning the belt kills all momentum of the division. Just as it started to get going with a young champion and young contenders. Nah instead we get 39 year old Unc Usman vs 35 year old Islam. Dope …

Your "young champion" probably should have included some kind of offense into his gameplan instead of having the entire plan to be just surviving and not winning a single round.

Has Dana said anything at all about Usman? So far we just have his manager angling to get him another title fight, and the champ saying Usman is probably the biggest name but will fight anybody they ask him to.

Islam seems to be a 2x a year fighter. For a fighter the UFC wants they usually give him a softball for a free defense, Usman is probably going to be it, plus they get to milk his name one last time plus Islam's legacy.

Morales could use the extra time to focus on TDD and a gameplan, still think he's #1 in prime at WW right now.
Garry deserves it for record, but he's boring as shit so I wouldn't cry if he had to wait until the second half of next year or fight again.
Shavkat needs to prove he's still the same guy after that bad injury.
Prates should honestly hope someone else becomes champ because Islam is a nightmare matchup, he has a punchers chance.

Now if none of these guys fight it'll be a shitty 2026. But Garry/Morales could be next for 2nd half title shot. Prates/Shavkat for next after that in 2027. WW is popping with contenders though and the champ has only fought JDM, which is pretty cool.
