Amosov shouldn't sign with the UFC. Basically all of the best welterweights in the world are outside of the UFC.

The UFC's welterweight rankings are filled with inferior older fighters that rank squat. The only one that might be as good as those 5 is Shavkat Rakhmonov, but he fights infrequently (only 6 fights in the last 5 years) and was beaten by Gadzhimurad Khiramagomedov twice.

#1 Edwards just fought, #2 Usman went up to MW on short notice and is now planning his next fight, after that you got #3 Shavkat, #4 JDM, #6 Brady and #7 Garry all new contenders. #8 Burns and #9 Thompson have been doing nothing of sorts and taking fights vs new opponents. Burns last three fights he's fought down in the rankings, just fought Brady last week and Wonderboy same thing, last 4 fights fought down the rankings, he's fighting next month vs #11 Buckley.

He's a very good fighter and any company interested in being the home for top talent should give it a go, but I don't think the UFC is interested in that, they want to have the best 3-5 guys and a bunch of mediocre brawlers to prop them up ideally.
