I was on the fence about a bet I made a month ago but saw recently that the Phenom’s been training with the Canadian crew and now have renewed faith in my parlay (Fedor>Mir, Vitor>Lyoto, Yoel>Reaper).

As a 25+ year fan of MMA ,I’m indifferent to who wins, maybe more of a Lyoto fan due to my own Karate background, but am having a hard time deciding who I think will win...pseudo-retirement talk, psych ward face-off attire, and support dog aside, can Belfort derail the Dragon in an epic showdown of 2 Brazilian legends?

What say you, Sherdoggers? Expensive ruse?

The matchup reminds me of a time when I actually paid for the PPV’s happily, and shocked it’s so low on the card, should be co-main imo...

i dont understand why its so low on the card....I can't wait for this fight. I love both guys but machida is one of my 3 favorite all time fighters (maybe my favorite) so I hope he wins it but also hope it's a good competitive fight that goes the distance.

TRT is the key to a Vitor Victory.

I have no idea who wins this, I hope it's Lyoto but I would be very worried about that parlay if I were you

Two basically 50/50 matchups left to go

The key to a Vitor victory is Machida having a wet paper chin, thing dissolves when it gets touched. If Vitor gets in range early for even a second the fight is done.

Wait what? Did you watch machidas last fight, he ate several hard clean shots from anders whose got a lot of power and was fine. Machidas chin is fine, probably better than Belforts at this point

This fight has everything to be boring,i think both will be hesitant to engage

I'll go one further and say Whitaker/Romero is closer to 60/40 or even 65/45. Besides the fact that Whittaker is a terrible matchup for Yoel, it's also a rematch where the younger guy beat the older guy in a non-flukish way, the younger guy almost always wins those rematches.

I like your style white belt. Good picks.

I saw the fight yes, it was exception more than the rule. Arlovski ate some shots in his last couple fights and didn't get knocked out, doesn't mean he has a good chin, it's still terrible.

Belfort... Has the hands... but lost the cardio. Needs to get the finish quick.

Actually Tristar gives THREE keys, not one, TS.

Should say "the keys to Vitor's victory" and then you'd be asking a real question at least.

Yeah that's true, I just don't feel like it's that bad, like with Brunson, he's got power and could ko anyone at mw. It's not like machidas chin is great, it's just not completely shot like people think.

Haha, thanks...I’m a sucker for an underdog and a fan of all 3.
