His dismantling of Izzy is still one of my favourite fights of all time. All downhill after that though and I became less of a fan when he would declare war, then point fight like he's doing a light cardio session for 5 rounds and lose a boring decision.

No, I think he will go downhill fast in the coming years when his elite reflexes starts to fade.

Even at his peak he lost to DDP and would definitely lose to Khamzat.

His style of fighting also leads to a lot of close fights (split decisions), which makes another winstreak less likely than for someone who is a finisher.

he had some fans for a hot minute when everyone was hating on adesanya and alex was rising in popularity. But now it seems everyone has turned on him for his boring style. its honestly more boring to watch him than khamzat or islam because he's never going for a finish.

he does have a win over imavov, but i dont think the ufc wants to throw any up and comers into a boring fight with him.

doubt it. his wins come from nullifying his opponents, not doing anything proactive himself and that can only take you so far. he's getting older and no one even wants to watch him fight, and with the good style matchup with izzy gone i doubt he'll do much else.
