No, the point is that he doesn't need an "air of invincibility" in order to justify a title shot because we aren't comparing him to GSP or Jon Jones, we are comparing him to fuckin DDP lol.

There is no doubt he is getting one if he runs through Costa because he has 5.6m insta followers and is the most compelling fight in the division for Izzy given the stylistic matchup.

But has earned it by popularity and more or less walking through most of his matches hardly even being touched. Burns is the only guy that even put up much of an match for him and Burns give everybody a tough fight and comes out winning most of the time.

I posted this in another thread but Khamzat set the bar so high with his first few UFC fights that when he got thrown into the deep end of the division and finally faced some adversity people started acting like he's not good. What he did to Holland was extremely impressive IMO, beating Holland in itself isn't that great of a win but he made it look like Kevin didn't even belong in that cage with him.
