Will Jon Jones take down Daniel Cornier?

Jon Jones has always beat guys at their strengths, he decided to outwrestle Chael, get in close with Glover, strike with Vitor and Shogun.

I think he will prove a point and take down DC, and beat him up there.
 
I don't think he'll even try it. Jones has that one two eye poke down to a science now. He'll use that to maintain range until DC closes said range, pins him up against the cage then ragdolls him worse than he did to Hendo. It's not going to be a fun night for fans of Jonny Bones.

I can't wait.

Not going to say it's impossible .. but its going to be extremely difficult to do
 
Jon Jones will probably try it to prove a point but will fail miserably. Cormier will be one landing take downs left and right.
 
He can try but this will happen.

It won't be harder than taking down Sonnen. Hendo gets taken down by everyone now, and DC has the height/reach of a lw/ww. Predicting Jones possibly tries a td really early, and if it fails, outstrikes him easily and then takes him down later in the fight for fun.
 
Jones will jab and circle to a unanimous decision and a pissed off DFW.
 
Jon's not a 42 year old trt patient or a part time fighter/full time coffee fetcher. He's gonna smash Danielle's face in.
 
You guys honestly think the main training partner of Cain Velasquez is gonna get had by this sparrow legged eye poking heathen?
 
Nah, Jones keeps it standing and thoroughly outstrikes him.
 
If Cormier can contest it, no. But he can take him down if he catches Cormier off guard. Then he will proceed to ground and pound him. Cormiers stamina and ground game isn't the best in the world and Jones is a predator.

Sparrow legs happens to be the greatest LHW of all time

If this fight hits the ground, I think DC comes out on top though.
 
Maybe a trip or throw from the clinch, but not a single or double ubless Cormier is rocked
