Will Gus Ever Hold The LHW Belt?

Whats your prediction will Gus ever be the UFC lhw champion?
In my opinion he would be an amazing champion.. very classy
even in a controversial loss and even with Joe Rogan fishing
for his view on the decision. But Gus remains classy and
professional at all times and didnt complain at all.

Right now the belt is with Jones but small chance it could go
to glover and a somewhat real chance it could go to cormier
as well.

Despite which one of these dudes Gus has to fight for the belt...
do you predict he will one day hold ufc gold?

I think he might be champion coming, I think he will nail his next chance. He is a top level LHW now....and there really arent any new guys coming up to challenge him. I feel he can beat anyone at LHW, but I wouldnt feel confident in many guys beating him.

I believe Jones won the first fight, but it was close. I've always thought Gus was very good, but as a long-time Jones fan, I really came to respect Gus after this fight.

Jones was actually competent with Gus on the feet and Gus did everything right but still lost and kept it on the feet.

It will get tougher

I think it will be easier for him. He knows he can defend the takedowns and out box Jones. What he has to work on is cardio (same with Jones) and avoiding kicks and be better prepped for the elbows.

He will be more confident next time in throwing power shots as well...I think Gus was a bit gun shy in going with more power at times.

I think its just easier for Gus to make a few minor adjustments.....then for Jones to improve what he wanted to do.
