Will Brooks Will Be Champion By 2017

i was never impressed by brooks and he has looked like shit in both ufc fights

he has average striking with solid wrestling thats about it

and obviously wilts under pressure
 
I like brooks, inspiring story. He was fighting a fat wanker that missed weight when it's obvious he kills himself to make 155 and he also got hurt. He will be back

Stop this. LW division in the UFC isn't the same as at Bellator. in Bellator they almost ask Michael Chandler to hold the belt. There's many prospects around the world that could win the LW Bellator belt but barely get top 10 in UFC. Alvarez is legit, just went under the radar for many years, Brooks still has a looooooong way to go if he wants to be UFC champ.

While Bellator is the minor leagues, this is a ridiculous post because you act like Chandler is weak. When it's been shown he's pretty equal with Eddie, who is champ.

I don't think Will Brooks will ever be champ. But I won't discount it. This fight was odd, as Oliveira missed weight by so much and Brooks had an injured rib.

It's a division where the belt gets passed around. Lots of dudes could be champ on the right day.

Chandler is overrated, Bellator just loves having him as the champ. Oh, and he doesn't pass the eye test. USADA would probably "slow him down" a lot just like they did Brooks :p.

He won't even be in line for a titleshot in 2017.
 
Brooks will be back, he is very talented for sure. Don't think he will be getting a title shot in 2017 though, but he can get some wins together. everything that could go wrong in that fight on saturday went wrong for him.
 
Tonight marks the beginning of Will Brooks' run to the title.
 
I expect him to win handily tonight. I do think he is top 10 and maybe even 5, but I dont think he will be taking the title. This might be the most stacked we’ve ever seen a UFC weight class
 
LOL He's not a fighter. UFC is a whole different level. Better be prepared to die not quit with a hurt rib or complain about another mans weight by 5 lbs.

Top 15 at best.
 
Nobody will be LW champion in 2018 because the belt will never be put in the line as long as Conor holds it.
