I was suprised when he won vs. Marcin Held...Marcin got him in a lot of trouble so he really is susceptible to subs...

Before you get too crazy there, in the mid 2013s..... Michael Bisping in a nine fight stretch.... literally lost every other fight.

And yet bisping became world champion. Do I think brooks will ever be champion? no (obviously not in 2017) but to say it's impossible... and calling someone a retard for saying it could happen is a little steep. just sayin.

It’s actually quite ironic. The thread should be a lesson in humility, for TS, and those piling on him. Unfortunately it’s not going to be what people take away from this.

Brooks has admitted a couple of times he is unmotivated. Unmotivated in training and in fighting. Doesn't have the desire he once had when he was on his way up.

No matter how good of a talent you are. If the drive is gone to a point his coaches have to encourage force him to train, he's done.

After two consecutive losses in the UFC with his talent he should have been fired up and come out a blazing against Nick Saturday night. He wasn't, looked it in spots bit not straight up old vintage Brooks.

If he doesn't find the passion, want and desire to fight he should just stop. Lenz showed heart , any fighter with that will find away to win over someone who isn't totally invested

Nah, that's way different.

Bisping was an injury replacement for Weidman. Short notice fight.

Lucky punch won him the belt. And he hid from top contenders for as long as he could.

Will Brooks is not getting any title shots, short notice or not.
 
It would've been nice to see another Bellator guy become champion. He's still just 31 though. He can make a comeback.

Don't think it's about the belt or the money. After years anyone can lose motivation for anything. It's a long road and many years of training. When that passion goes it goes.
