he became so inconsistent and have his injuries- gave ups from fights

on the first Verhoeven fight he looked ok but his arm got fucked.

On the 2nd he looked amazing answering and eating well verhoeven strikes, even knocked him down twice before an weird injury

who knows if he fights again how he will perform.

Since 2013,when he cames back to the sport, he was in a tournament with old people like Leko and Peter Graham(the tournament was made just for him get a revenge against them who knocked him out in the past),also fought old Ignashov

he entered as a replacement on the k-1 2012 tournament and beaten Samedov(didnt convinced)

in his next match, against Samedov for the 3rd time he also gave up after a knockdown

The fight with londt was a mess

I hope he retires, this is the 4rth time that he gives up on a fight

Badr is Glory`s bitch now. They need him to milk some money out from the Moroccan fans. But yeah, after this fight, I would not be surprised if he retires from the sport.

He should retire! Otherwise somebody like Raul Cătinaș/Tarik Khbabez will make it worse for him.

Deal with it, Adegbuyi has retired you tonight! Enough Moroccan trash-talk.

I say the outcome was really bad for "the guy". One of the most humiliating losses "of this guy".

Benny will not rematch him, forget it, he waited him for months, postponements and then the coronavirus "of the guy". Benny also has the same age, at least 4 fights left.

Verhoeven/Ben Saddik will fight Adegbuyi. The things in the heavyweight division are clear, and Rigters, Khbabez and Cătinaș can fight Plazibat for a potential title fight. Nordine is not at the level of Plazibat and is always gassing out after 2 rounds.

Verhoeven/Ben Saddik vs. Adegbuyi - world title
Rigters/Khbabez/Cătinaș/Plazibat - contender tournament (but better would be single fights)

Marshall and Wilnis are also in discussion, but not in a tournament because they have recevied many chances. In single matches. I say the division is quite good, with or without "him". He talks about Allah, between the trash-talk.

Before he did not look like tonight. Tonight and against Rico he has looked good. Just that he is a 2-round fighter, not a championship challenger.

The outcomes were really bad for him, especially this one. The Moroccan had his chance against Verhoeven (II).

And he gives up. Where did we see Aerts, Ghiță and others giving up even in their last years?

Badr has no heart.
@Weidmanstyle

Honestly I think he can. I think the thing to do would be to put badr into a four man contender tournament against some of the mid rank guys and if he wins put him in another big fight. He is capable of getting back on track and winning big fights. The real question is does he want to be a top level fighter and if so how badly. How how much suffering and sacrifice is he willing to endure at this point in his career. The skills, ring iq, talent and power are all there, he has the ability to be champion again but does he have the will? That I don’t know, but I think he has a lot to prove after tonight assuming he still wants to fight.

Edit* if I’m being honest, I doubt he has it in him to turn things around. I do think he is capable of putting on a few more good fights but I doubt he has much more in him. Frankly I thought he was more or less done all the way back in 2013. The way Badr fought against Rico got my hopes up. But but I need to be real, the guy has never shown that he possesses the discipline required to make a legitimate comeback.

Put him against Khbabez or Cătinaș, we will definitely laugh. :)) Cătinaș wrecked Guidon who was taller. Let"s say Slowinski was half-old then. Cătinaș said he really wants to fight Hari.

Kind of tough to think of opponents that make sense for Badr to fight. 0 reason to match him against Catinas. Since he can barely finish a single fight, putting Hari in a tournament probably wouldn't turn out too well and doubt he'd want to enter one either. Had Hari won then a fight against Rico sure, now that doesn't make a lot of sense.

If Saki or Overeem were done with the UFC, could do a one-off against either. Outside of those, a little random, but maybe Tyrone Spong? No real direct reason for him and Badr to fight either but at least kind of interesting names to match in the Netherlands.

Realistically, if Ben Saddik loses to Rico then I suppose do Badr vs Ben Saddik if Hari is up for that. If Hari doesn't want that challenge, Khababez as another Moroccan and maybe try and do some new generation vs the old.

Only if he starts doing steroids again.

Of course he can win any match he's on. No doubt, he needs to train real serious and don't forgive the opponents (he got TKO'd because he didn't finish Benny in the end of 2nd round). Also if he hadn't broke his nose who knows how the fight might have continued.

Maybe bad luck or age but he seems prone to get some weird injury every game.

Te question is not if he can but if he will

Badr kinda seems like he wants Glory to treat him special, Im not so sure he want to climb up the ladder again like a young fighter. If he does though you could put him against Wilnis or Marshall. I honestly think he would find a way to quit against Brestovac.

He looked worse with steroids in 2018 than in his last 2 I would say solid matches.
He relies more on technique when he doesn't have the steroids. But he is weaker now. He need the right amount of steroids to give him the strength he needs while not affecting his technique.

I hope not. I hope he suffers many more humiliating losses.
