Will Bader re-sign with the UFC, and does he still hold value????

Well he sucks absolute shit, so maybe. Does heavyweight or light heavy need a mediocre wrestleboxer whose "best days" are eons behind him? If so this could be a real coup

No chance, not at his age - of course he can beat the bottom half of the division and maybe the odd upper top 10 but nah.

No, and no he won't he never was a "name"
He's was the Anthony Smith during his term in the ufc

He won mid fights. Once in a while got lucky on a named opponent then would get lumped a few times getting put to the bottom again

I hope so steps in as a top 10 hw in the shittiest division in the ufc. Welcome addition

Yes he probably will re-sign. Yes his name has value. He is likely washed and will be used to build up young prospects. If he’s smart, he’ll take 2 or 3 money fights and retire with dignity.

He most likely won’t be resigned because he’s old and coming off a KO loss but to be fair I think he’d smoke guys like Tybura and Parkin and provides more name value

Would be a better signing than Jeremy Stephens

Dana never liked him in the first place. He was clear next contender and they set him up to be knocked out by Rumble. When his contract was up he was on a win streak and Dana's immediate comments after the fight were 'Bellator would be a good place for him'. He's now in his 40s. Can't see it happening unless he's willing to fight for peanuts.

I followed Bader before the Ultimate Fighter and he was one of the more hyped fighters entering the show. Even in his prime though in UFC he didn’t have much value. He was a guy that would look amazing and tiers above against some talent(mid level, borderline contenders, over the hill fighters, except for Tito LOL) and just completely choke against elite fighters at the time(Rumble, Glover, Machida).

Even during some his dominant wins he was just boring and frustrating to watch as he would just sometimes lay and prey even though you knew he could smash them and finish easily but he just wanted to play it safe.

He also didn’t have much of a personality to market. DC really tried and help to WWE style his way in a match with him and it was just awkward and nobody cared still so it didn’t happen.

OMG I sure hope so

I have been DYING to see Bader vs. Tybura for over a decade and it might finally happen!!!! PLEASE DANA MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

Bader would get mauled at 205 & at HW Spivac, Almedia, Gane, Aspinall, & Jones easily beat him.

No, Bade had a good UFC run and even better Bellator run but he is too old and his jaw/fight IQ have always been questionable.

The guy had a great career, no need to take more damage at this point.

Worst double champ in all of MMA. He'd get slaughtered if he came back to the UFC. He did well for himself all things considered though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made him a short term contract offer.
His name recognition alone would be welcomed in a division that is fairly thin on game athletes.

why though? so he can come in and wrestlefuck guys like Jiri into boring decisions? you're thinking about him losing, but it's quite possible he could do a Glover and just smotherfuck everyone on the ground all the way to the title.

He is too small for HW and he is low for LHW. I don't think he can go back to tougher testing. He is GFL material. He can fight Frank Mir or something.
