Wii fit?

What do you guys think of this as a tool to help with training?

From what i've seen on ign and other sites it might be a cool thing to play around with.

Some of the activities like yoga positions , different types of press ups e.t.c look cool.

What do you guys think? It's out in the UK next Friday.

hmmm.

yoga? shadow boxing?
you know, you could just do this shit in real life.

but yea, i see what you're getting at. it could be great for fat people that refuse to do shit that doesn't involve a tv

Wii Fit could actually be the next big thing in video games! and true that it will help those couch potatoes get off their asses and move around...but we will see...

I think its probably just gonna be a bit fun, although saying that doing a few fights on Wii boxing can get me knackered lol.

If people can't be bothered exercising normally I doubt this will change much.

I don't know, you should look up the DDR thread in conditioning.

Geeks who never would have lifted a finger to do anything were up and dancing all around the country. Video games are damn powerful.

I've seen some intense DDR dance battles at the arcades.

Im excited for this, it also tracks your weight and bmi, lots of neat features.

I already exersize so im not looking at it as a life saving feature, but i am intrested when it comes out.

Fair enough. I suppose marketing exercise as a game could appeal to a few people, especially kids who aren't normally active. You're right about games being damn powerful.
